Thoughts on Autumn

If we didn’t realize time was flying by, the weather has certainly gotten our attention. At least where I live, it suddenly feels like fall. The bare limbs of the trees outstreched against an overcast sky is a sure sign of November on the Colorado plains. If you look out at daybreak, you might even catch them with a dusting of powdery snow.

So, if it’s November, Thanksgiving cannot be too far off. I have many thigs to be thankful for this year including getting this website up and running after nine months. But I’m also thankful for the not-so-tangible things of life: sunshine, clear skies, friendship and fellowship, charity among strangers.

Wishing you the best of Thanksgivings.

Thanks to Nathan Anderson for the beautiful picture of aspen in the mountains.
